The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, Former Union Minister, and Member of Parliament from Sirsa Kumari Selja said that while the state government is busy praising the new education policy, on the other hand, it is not paying any attention to government schools and is promoting private schools.

The situation of government schools in the state is extremely worrying, with 37 schools having no students, and 274 schools having lower than 10 students. In a statement released to the media, Kumari Selja said that the Haryana BJP government is neither recruiting teachers nor taking any steps to improve the infrastructure of government schools. As a result, children are being forced to leave school. When there are no teachers or facilities in schools, who will remain?
