Opposing the government's public-private partnership (PPP) plan for five hospitals-Ferozepur, Moga, Gurdaspur, Rajpura, and Moonak-the Save Health Services Sangrash Committee, Ferozepur District, staged a massive protest at Civil Hospital Ferozepur today under Raman Attri's leadership.
Operations were halted, followed by a road blockade. State Convener Ravinder Luthera, addressing the event, accused the government-which rose to power promising health card reforms-of plotting to dismantle Punjab's already subpar public health facilities.
