Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav reviewed the preparations for the major events to be organized across Patiala district in November to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, as per the decision of the Punjab Government.

Presiding over a meeting of the District Cultural Society, Dr. Preeti Yadav informed that a special Kirtan Samagam will be organized in Patiala city to pay homage to the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Similar Kirtan Samagams and Kavi Darbars will also be held in all subdivisions of the district. She added that the Dharmik Yatra starting from Sri Talwandi Sabo (Bathinda) on November 20 will reach Patiala, where the Sangat will stay overnight.
