Attack on important person like Kalia, former Punjab state president, is failure of government and police: Suri

A grenade was attacked at the house of a senior BJP leader and former minister Manoranjan Kalia in Jalandhar late last night. The incident took place around 1:30 am when unidentified assailants riding an e-rick-shaw reached Kalia's house and fled after hurling a grenade, which damaged Kalia's house door and also damaged a parked car. Former BJP district president and former councilor Chetan Sharma strongly condemned the AAP government.

Meanwhile, Chetan Suri strongly targeted the AAP government. He said that it is surprising that if an important person like him can be attacked, then what will the AAP government protect the common people of Punjab. He said that Kalia's phone call to the police commissioner after the attack and the commissioner kept picking up the phone proves that the Punjab government has tied the hands of the Punjab police. Chetan Suri said that this incident is unfortunate and it clearly shows the conspiracy and the environment of Punjab. He said that from this there has been a grenade attack in Amritsar before and now BJP leaders are being targeted. He said that I believe that the Aam Aadmi Party government's priority is to depl
