CRUCIAL FORCE
NESIPPAYA marks the debut of Akash Murali, son of the late actor Murali and younger brother of Atharvaa, while also marking the return of director Vishnuvardhan to Tamil cinema after a decade.
The movie is a love story steeped in a thriller plot.
It begins with Diya Ramalingam (Aditi Shankar) being arrested by Portuguese authorities for the murder of her boss, Karthik Adinarayanan (George Koran). Back in India, Arjun (Akash Murali) and his family watch in shock as the news breaks on television. The story then unfolds, going back to 2016, when Arjun and Diya are college mates and they fall in love.
