THE Cape Town Ulama Board expresses deep concern over the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, particularly in light of recent air strikes launched resulting in casualties in Pakistan.
Such actions are a clear violation of international human rights law and could amount to crimes against humanity.
We express our solidarity with the innocent people of India and Pakistan who are caught in the crossfire of this conflict and call on all nations, especially Muslim-majority countries, to show principled leadership in the face of such aggression.
