Business studies teacher at Taxila Secondary School, Kgadima Mashalane, has been teaching the subject at the school since 2011 and his work has been recognised recently.
He won the award for best performing teacher in gateway and selected subjects, particularly business studies under the public schools category.Mashalane received the award during the 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) announcement and awards ceremony held last Tuesday at The Ranch Resort, hosted by the Department of Education. He was also recognised at the Mayor's Excellence Awards last Friday at Jack Botes Hall, alongside other teachers who were awarded in their respective subj
