Disability movement marches to demand inclusion, equal opportunities

People living with disabilities, under the banner of the Disability Civil Movement, confronted Provincial Government on Friday with a set of demands aimed at promoting inclusion and equal opportunities.
The group marched from SABC Park to the Office of the Premier, where they submitted a memorandum of demands, with employment opportunities and job security topping the agenda.
In September, the group had met with representatives from Polokwane Municipality to broaden discussions on employment exclusion, particularly regarding permanent government posts.
