Gathering set to make Blair Castle return visit

The Atholl Highlanders Parade and Gathering returns to Blair Castle on the weekend of May 24 to 25.
It comprises a colourful parade with pageantry, together with a fun filled community day of traditional Highland Games in the castle grounds.
The Atholl Highlanders will march under the command of RSM Graham Jack and Major Aubyn Stewart-Wilson before an official inspection by Major General Robin Lindsay, CBE, Regimental Colonel of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Sunday's Highland Games Gathering, formally opened by Michael Murray, Marquis of Tullibardine, includes a Local and Open heavyweights competitions, followed by piping and Highland Dancing competitions.
Blair Castle and Atholl Estates marketing manager Jess Reid said: “We are hoping that the weather will be good, as we've been enjoying such a lovely spring” Jess continued.
