With the Cape Town Carnival set to light up the Mother City in just over 10 days celebrated designer Stephen van Eeden is ready to turn the streets into a moving runway of couture, culture and creativity.
Known for his signature blend of bridal elegance, red-carpet glamour and luxurious resort wear, he will bring bold fashion to one of Cape Town’s biggest celebrations of art, identity and community on Saturday 21 March.
More than 1 000 performers and 10 beautifully-crafted floats will once again light up the Green Point Fan Walk.
Van Eeden is one of 10 local artists selected to be champions of the 16th edition of the event.
On the theme “Follow your heART” Van Eeden says spectators can expect a celebration of theatrical glamour and refined artistry.
