Hout Bay Tai Chi athletes returned home with 12 gold medals after excelling at the 2025 South African Chinese Kung Fu and Tai Chi Championship on Saturday 8 November.
Representing Western Cape, the four-member team delivered a performance that showcased precision, balance and the philosophy at the heart of traditional Chinese martial arts.
Team members Xiong Chang Sen, Bruno Villers, Clotilde Villers and Jade Thompson each earned three gold medals across various Tai Chi and Kung Fu categories.
