Excitement is mounting for one of the biggest street events on Cape Town's event calendar taking place on Saturday 21 March.

Colour, music and movement will take over the Green Point Fan Walk when over 1 000 performers and 10 stunning floats parade through the 16th Cape Town Carnival.

With just a few days to go, carnival organisers say its all systems go to bring spectators an unforgettable event.

Jay Douwes, Cape Town Carnival chief executive officer, says the day promises to be funfilled and suitable for the entire family.
