Work due to start on 65 new homes

Construction of a 65-home development in Gallowhill is to get underway in less than three weeks, it has been confirmed.

McTaggart Construction, which is building the £13.7 million scheme on behalf of Renfrewshire Council, said its staff will move on site, off Montgomery Road, on Monday.

In a neighbour notice, issued to Gallowhill residents this week, the firm said workers would spend the first fortnight preparing the area before the build work begins.
