Union secures 'pay wins' for airport staff

Glasgow Airport workers who offer assistance to people with mobility problems have won a five per cent pay increase.
-
Eighty employees of OCS-which has the contract for assisting people throughout the airport terminal-will see their basic rate of pay rise to £12.81 per hour.
The deal, negotiated by Unite the union, will also see the hourly rate for night shift workers increased to £14.29 with both rates effective from April 2025.
The news comes as cleaners at the Paisley transport hub are also awarded a five per cent increase.
