A local MSP has welcomed the reported increase in the number of new paramedics and GPs.

Renfrewshire South MSP Tom Arthur has welcomed the new figures which show a rise in newly-qualified paramedics within the Scottish Ambulance Service, as well as an increase in GPs across Scotland.
The data, released this week, reveals that 360 newly-qualified paramedics have joined the Scottish Ambulance Service since 2023.
