Golfers teed off for Star Project

Renfrewshire golfers have swung into action to help support vulnerable families this Christmas.

Members of the Habbie Simpson Gowfin Society handed over £1,000 to the Star Project, which works to address the symptoms of poverty in Paisley.
The society-one of Renfrewshire's most active local golf groups-handed over the cash to help Star deliver its programme of activities and interventions over the festive period.
The schedule includes plans for a festive lunch, Santa visits and workshops to create handmade gifts-all with the aim of reducing the cost of Christmas for families in Paisley.
