easyJet celebrates 30 years

Having recently visited Glasgow Airport to see at first hand easyJet’s operation at the airport, I was pleased to learn that the airline is adding an additional aircraft to their fleet operating out of Glasgow.

Growth easyJet has expanded its aircraft at Glasgow Airport

I hope this will make more destinations available for passengers.

The addition comes as easyJet marks its 30th year flying to and from the Paisley transport hub.

I have been advocating on behalf of constituents for a rail link to the airport which would be a massive benefit for passengers and those working for the airport and the many businesses located there.

It would also boost the local economy in Renfrewshire and the west of Scotland.

I remain concerned about the closure of the GP Surgery in Langbank.

The closure has left between 900 and 1,000 residents in and around the village without access to a GP in their community.
