Derry City have launched a bid for St Mirren keeper Ryan Mullen.

The Irish side are looking to land the shot stopper.

The Brandywell outfit have made their move as first-choice Brian Maher is out injured.

Maher has broken his wrist and faces months on the sidelines.

That hasleft Derry boss Tiernan Lynch with a major issue just two games into their League of Ireland campaign.

Derry play Bohemians at home this evening.

Lynch has turned to the Buddies to try and ease his goalkeeping crisis and Mullen is the man he wants.
