Brand new app set to help tackle antisocial behaviour

Council launches new tool
Renfrewshire Council can now utilise an app as a tool for its tenants to report antisocial behaviour (ASB) after a pilot took place earlier this year.
The technology - which allows users to collect and submit noise recordings, diary sheets and videos - is not intended as a standalone measure but to bolster other resources.
Evidence could be used to strengthen investigations but Renfrewshire Council has stressed it is not a replacement for the agencies that are available to tackle the problem.
A report to a meeting of next Tuesday's communities and housing policy board provided an update on the initiative and explained how it is likely to be used.
