St Mirren fans snap up 5,000 tickets for Hampden in two hours
St Mirren fans snapped up more than 5,000 cup final tickets during the first two hours of sales yesterday.
The black-and-white army will be marching on Hampden again in their thousands as their favourites take on Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup showpiece on Sunday, December 14.
Season-ticket holders had the chance to book their place on the big day from noon yesterday after the club was handed an initial allocation of 9,500.
If sales progress well, Saints will receive a further 7,500 briefs meaning there could be up to 17,000 cheering on Stephen Robinson's men next month.
