Saints icon hit the Kiltwalk for charities

- TAYLOR MURRAY

£5k raised by Tony's team

St Mirren icon Tony Fitzpatrick put his best foot forward to help raise £5,000 for three Renfrewshire charities after taking part in the Kiltwalk.

The Saints legend walked 23 miles from Glasgow to Balloch and was joined by Jed McCabe and Martin McKillop from his Legacy Comps organisation.

Benny McSwegan, Iain Waddell and Matthew Kane from Johnstone TOA Taxis also joined the team as they looked to raise lifeline cash for good causes.

Legacy Comps is Tony Fitzpatrick's lottery and raffle-prize company which he started more than three years ago.
