Television hosts pay tribute to Matthew

THIS Morning stars Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary have led tributes to a “beloved” teenager who tragically took his own life.
Matthew Lock, from Maghull, died aged 19 on September 8, 2023, after a battle with addiction and ADHD.
The young ITV personality was well-known to viewers as an enthusiastic contributor on the show, where he would often demonstrate his extensive knowledge of vacuum cleaners and mechanics.
In last Thursday's episode, hosts Alison and Dermot honoured Matthew’s memory and discussed his life with his parents.
Dermot said: “We are remembering one of our beloved This Morning family members today, 19-year-old Matthew Lock.
“Matthew first appeared on the show back in 2020 and charmed the pants off us with his enthusiasm and love for gadgets.
