Police investigate theft of flagstones

CALLOUS thieves have ripped up and stolen a large number of paving slabs from a property.
Officers from the South Rural Task Force have launched an investigation into the theft on Ashfield Terrace, Appley Bridge.
It happened overnight between Wednesday, May 14, and Thursday, May 15.
Police said the offenders “will have had to be on scene for a significant amount of time due to the size and weight of the flags”.
