STF nabs key operative in gun running racket

The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police has apprehended the key figure behind the state’s illegal arms trade from Munger in Bihar, an official claimed Friday.
The STF with the help of Munger police May 20 arrested Md Aslam, STF DIG Pinak Mishra stated.
The accused was apprehended in connection with a case of illegal firearms manufacturing in Cuttack district.
One manufacturing unit of illegal firearms operating in a house in Bada Dhuleswar village was detected by the police March 13, 2025.
