State inks 13 MoUs, garners ₹1.03L-cr investment intents

New Delhi April 8: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's two-day visit to the national capital culminated with a series of significant outcomes aimed at bolstering the state's industrial landscape.

As a major step forward, the state government signed several high-value Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading industry players here. These investments will garner ₹98,880 crore of investment and provide employment for 67,000 people, officials said. The highlight of the event was an agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) for setting up a Dual-Feed Naphtha Cracker Project in Odisha.
The project is expected to bring in investments of over ₹58,000 crore, generating employment for 24,000 people.
