OCAC launches tech training camps

Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), the technical directorate of the Electronics and Information Technology department Tuesday launched ‘Emerging Technologies Training Camps’ for secondary and higher secondary school students across the state in presence of Electronics and Information Technology Minister Mukesh Mahaling and School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond.

The state-level inauguration was held at the ICONIC Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV), Andharua. In the first phase, the programme will be implemented in 100 government secondary and higher secondary schools, benefitting nearly 12,000 students. The initiative will be expanded in subsequent phases to cover all government schools, OAVs, government colleges and universities.
