Fresh Covid-19 case after 2-and-a-half yrs

A fresh Covid-19 case has been detected in the state after a gap of two-and-a-half years, and the condition of the patient is stable, a senior government official said here Thursday.
Responding to media queries, Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) department Secretary Aswathy S Thursday advised people not to panic about the sporadic appearance of Covid cases in the state. “The patient is stable at present but the only concern is that the infected person has several comorbid conditions,” she said.
