Puri district unit of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Monday called for Puri Bandh August 7 while Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) announced to hold Nari Nyaya Yatra, demanding justice for Balanga, who succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Delhi AIIMS August 2.
During a presser at Puri, district BJD president Umakanta Samantaray announced that they will observe bandh demanding justice for the minor girl. “The bandh will be observed from 6am to 12pm.
