49,818 students in final UG merit list

The State Higher Education department Tuesday released the Phase-I third and final merit list for Undergraduate (UG) admissions for the 2025-26 academic sessions, with a total of 49,818 students shortlisted. So far, 1,09,400 students have taken admission through the first and second rounds.
While the first round saw 1,75,722 students selected from 2,65,590 applicants, only 79,752 students took admission. In the second round, 45,502 candidates were selected, with 29,468 confirming admission.
In the third and final round, 49,818 students have been shortlisted, including 21,023 males, 28,792 females, and three transgender students.
