Town rallies for schoolboy who is battling cancer for third time

NUNEATON has rallied again for a Pokemon-loving schoolboy who is battling rare cancer for the third time.

Kyle Page was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma when he was just four-years-old.

He underwent rounds of chemo-therapy back and was told he went into remission.

But he continued to have routine scans and in June 2023 it emerged that he had relapsed.

Medics found a tumour around his aorta, which led to him having a major operation to remove it.

Now, heartbreakingly, he has relapsed again - for the third time - and this time the childhood cancer has been detected in parts of his skull.

His mum Alison explained: “He has scans still every three months to just check on things.

“There has not been any signs of anything, just literally on the scans he had in April and we got the results in May, showed that he has fragments of neuroblastoma in the bones in his skull.
