New plan for 30 megawatts battery storage facility

Aplan for anew 30 megawatts temporary Battery Energy Storage facility in Exhall has been revealed. The BESS will be built on a site on Mcdonnell Drive.

Greenfield Energy Development Ltd is behind the application and it states: “The proposed development comprises the construction and operation of a BESS facility of up to 30 Megawatts (‘MW’) electrical capacity, associated site access and infrastructure, and landscaping on the site.
