Former rogue roofer forced to pay out £100,000

A former Nuneaton rogue roofer has been forced to pay out more than £100,000 to locals he ripped off.

Darren Bullaman, who used to live in Hill Top, scammed four Nuneaton and Leamington Spa residents.

Warwickshire County Council Trading Standards Service said he ripped off his victims by overcharging for work to their roofs that was largely unnecessary. His trick was to start with a lower quote before finding more and largely fictitious ‘problems’ with the roofs he was working on.
