Tram that derailed two years ago is still not back in service

A TRAM that derailed and crashed has still not returned to service more than two years later.

Nottingham's tram operator has confirmed the details of several incidents which have taken trams out of service, leaving the network without enough trams to currently offer a full service.

A temporary timetable change has been introduced which involves fewer trams running at peak times while vehicles are repaired. NET's boss says she is confident that a month will be long enough to get most of the trams back in service - but the operator has revealed that the vehicle involved in the derailment two years ago is still being repaired.
