The people WILL sing in city's first amateur performance of Les Mis

LES Miserables, the world's most popular musical, will be seen in its full glory in Nottingham next week for the first time in its 40-year history performed by a group of amateurs.
To mark Les Mis's special anniversary, West End impresario Sir Cameron Mackintosh has invited 11 amateur societies around the country to perform the legendary show, and Nottingham Operatic Society is one of the chosen few.
It has joined forces with Carlton Operatic Society, the Cast and the Theatre Royal to bring this daunting challenge to fruition.
