Scott's delight as he helps Magpies show no mercy

ROBERTSON GETS THE BALL ROLLING AGAINST CRAWLEY

SCOTT Robertson was delighted to return to the starting lineup and get on the scoresheet for Notts County in their 4-0 home win over Crawley Town on Saturday.

In his first start in almost a year, the 24-year-old opened the scoring for the Magpies at Meadow Lane on the cusp of halftime, as they went on to sweep Crawley aside in the second half.

There was also a first goal of the season for Alassana Jatta, while Tottenham Hotspur loanee Tyrese Hall came off the bench to score a brace, his first two professional goals, with Jayden Luker grabbing two assists as a substitute.

"From start to finish, it was a great all-round performance from the boys," said Robertson. "We've had a great week of training and the manager (Martin Paterson) has been going on all week about how we could execute better in this game.
