Sadness as family restaurant to close doors after 29 years

THE owners of a restaurant have announced with a “heavy heart” that it is to close after 29 years.

Ashmores has been a place for dining, family parties, business meetings, weddings and christening celebrations over nearly three decades in Radcliffe-on-Trent.

The restaurant, in Bingham Road, will shut on July 5. Jo and Mark Ashmore revealed on social media that the time is right for them to retire due to the challenges currently facing the hospitality industry.
