RUDDINGTON ARMS COUPLE SPEAK OF COST OF BUILDING BUSINESS
THE owners of a pub known for its outstanding food have announced its closure because of the toll it’s taken on them “mentally, physically and financially”.
It’s 12 years since Mark and Sarah Anderson took over the Ruddington Arms.
They changed the face of the business, building a reputation for fresh, seasonal food, with a renovation and new staff team.
Mark, who began his career in his native Newcastle, once had Gordon Ramsay as his boss at Teatro in London.
The closure of the Wilford Road pub was announced on social media, with the couple saying: “We never thought this day would come.”
