NOTTINGHAM City Council has revealed plans to tear down an abandoned shopping centre and replace it with council houses to help whittle down its 10,000-long waiting list.

Newly released city council documents show it intends to spend around £3.5 million to rip down the Robin Hood Chase shops in St Ann’s and build 15 two-bed houses in their place.
