Pastor called 999 over fear drug-driving churchgoer 'was going to kill someone'

A PASTOR called the police to report that one of her congregation “was going to kill someone” while driving around after taking drugs.

Nottingham Crown Court heard how other members of the public also dialled 999 to report churchgoer Sean Reid's erratic driving.

The 45-year-old approached roundabouts without braking, went on to the wrong side of the carriageway and caused oncoming vehicles to take evasive action.

When the defendant finally pulled over, he “fell out of the van” which continued to roll down the street until a police officer ran after it and managed to get in and pull the handbrake.
