NOTTINGHAM Forest hit the woodwork three times as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City in yesterday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
In the last four of the Cup for the first time since 1991, the Reds were hoping for similar final-whistle scenes to their last visit to the national stadium. That came three years ago, when they won promotion to the Premier League under the arch, beating Huddersfield Town 1-0 in the Championship play-off final.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo's side got off to the worst possible start in the capital yesterday as they found themselves behind with only two minutes on the clock.
