More than 50 jobs go as pet food firm collapses

A 50-YEAR-OLD Nottinghamshire firm has entered administration and staff have been made redundant.

Pet food seller Kennelpak, which has traded from Palmer Drive off Bessell Lane in Stapleford for decades, appointed administrators on Thursday.
Kerry Bailey and Mark Thornton of business advisory BDO, who have been appointed to manage the struggling business, said that they had made 51 redundancies.
The joint administrators have sold part of the company, which specialises in wholesaling and manufacturing, and two jobs have been saved.
