NOTTS County are relying on other teams to keep their slim chances of automatic promotion alive for the final day after suffering another defeat on Easter Monday.
It was a third defeat in the last four for Stuart Maynard's side as Cheltenham Town came from behind to beat them 2-1 at Meadow Lane.
With only one point taken from the last 12 available, Notts must win their final two matches to have any chance of a top-three finish in League Two.
However, that is reliant on Bradford City and Walsall both not winning next weekend, which would close that chance off before the final game.
At this point, the focus will be more on securing their play-off berth. Only three points separate them from Colchester United, who are just outside the top seven, and Salford City and Chesterfield are within two victories of the Magpies.
