The Great British Spring Clean is back this month to help spruce up our streets

EVERY year, more than 30 million tonnes of litter are dropped across Britain. For local authorities already stretched to the limit, the cleanup bill tops a staggering £1billion.

The good news? The nation's biggest environmental mass-action campaign is back.

From 13-29 March, the Great British Spring Clean* and Great Big School Clean are urging volunteers to help make our streets sparkle once again.

Since the event was launched in 2016, a growing army of Litter Heroes has cleared over 4.5 million bags from our parks, beaches and roadsides.
