E-bike burst into flames in family's home while charging

A FAMILY were horrified when an electric bike burst into flames and destroyed part of their home.

The secondhand e-bike caught fire while it was being recharged in a Bilborough home on Thursday, August 14.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said that the bike, bought from Facebook Marketplace, was being charged overnight with the wrong charger.
