Danilo completes a return to Brazil as he joins Botafogo

MIDFIELDER MADE 62 APPEARANCES FOR REDS
NOTTINGHAM Forest midfielder Danilo has left the club to join Botafogo.
The Brazilian returns to his homeland after two-and-a-half years at the City Ground. Reports from Brazil have suggested the Reds will receive a fee in the region of €22 million (£18.5m) made up of a fixed amount, add-ons and performance-related bonuses.
Announcing Danilo's departure, Forest said: “Nottingham Forest can confirm Danilo has left the club, joining Botafogo on a permanent transfer. Having been named in the Team of the Year as Palmeiras won the domestic double in 2022, the midfielder joined Forest in January 2023.
