Couple to open new cafe in prime city-centre location

There isn't a firm date but the owners of Sipping Boba are aiming for the middle of December.

Kabitha Begum and her partner Wasim Ali opened a site in Ilkeston Road last year and are also planning to open a third in Birmingham.

Sipping Boba's specialities are bubble tea along with pancakes and croffles, which are a fusion of croissants and waffles.

Milk teas, fruit teas, fruity mocktails, iced matchas and hot drinks are served. Made-to-order Japanese soufflé pancakes - big, light and fluffy come with a variety of toppings, including strawberry, Biscoff, matcha and pistachio.
