Council's hybrid working policy under review

IT'S 'FAR TOO LOOSE' SAYS GOVERNMENT COMMISSIONER

THE lead government official sent to improve Nottingham City Council says the authority's current policy on hybrid working is “far too loose” and that a review is under way.

The council’s leader says she is keen to ensure “visibility” from senior management by making sure they are in the office where possible.

Three commissioners were first appointed by the Government in February last year to improve the council in the wake of its effective declaration of bankruptcy months earlier.

The commissioners are due to leave in February, but they say it is too early to decide whether they will be needed for longer.
