Cotter joins Magpies with a 'desire to help'

WING-BACK BARRY SIGNS ON SEASON LOAN FROM BARNSLEY

BARRY Cotter's “obvious desire to come here and help the club achieve its objectives” was a key reason in Notts County bringing him to Meadow Lane on loan.
The Magpies announced the arrival of the 26-year-old wing-back on Friday, with the Irishman joining for the season from League One side Barnsley.
Cotter became the fifth player to join Notts this summer, and signs on following two seasons and 66 appearances at Oakwell.
And the player, who won three Under-19 caps with the Republic of Ireland, is well known to Head Coach Martin Paterson, with the pair working together when the latter was on the coaching staff at the South Yorkshire side.
