NOTTINGHAM went cookie crazy for the opening of a new shop at the weekend.

More than 160 people waited in eager anticipation for Insomnia Cookies to open its doors in the city centre - but one man went the extra mile.
Armed with a chair he waited from midnight until 4pm the following day and as first in line it guaranteed him a year's supply of free cookies. It's not quite the record though - when the Sheffield store opened a cookie fan camped out from 9pm.
