Care home shut by CQC owes money to residents

THEY WERE MOVED OUT FOLLOWING DAMNING INSPECTION
A NOTTINGHAMSHIRE care home that was forced shut by health inspectors has been placed into liquidation owing more than £95,000.
Residents were moved out of The Firs Residential Care Home on Old Epperstone Road in Lowdham on April 4 following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The CQC, which regulates health and adult social care in England, suspended the registration of the provider and rehoused all 11 of its residents after it was inspected on April 1 and 2.
